Welcome to PAWsitive Touch SM Canine Massage & Dog Training! 

PAWsitive Touch  was established with the hope to promote the use of massage in enhancing the overall wellness of dogs the Washington, D.C. metro area and Northern Virginia.  As dedicated animal lovers, PAWsitive Touch realizes that more and more dog owners today are becoming conscious of the holistic wellness of our beloved animals, such as good exercise, quality nutrition and natural supplements, to enhance their health and longevity.  After all, dogs are more than just pets or companions for most of us. PAWsitive Touch Massage is a gentle, fun and effective method of enhancing the overall wellness of your pet by contributing in a number of PAWsitive ways.  

PAWsitive Touch Massage is a unique combination of traditional Swedish massage, Japanese Shiatsu acupressure applications, and various companion animal massage methods.  We offer hands-on lessons of this caring canine massage to dog guardians so that their dogs will live a happy, healthy and long life.  We currently offer Canine Wellness Massage for all kinds of dogs, Canine Senior Citizen Massage for geriatric dogs, and Canine Sports Massage for doggie athletes.  We can also design a customized massage/shiatsu program to meet your dog's specific needs.  We also offer PAWsitive dog training which incorporates our expertise of dog massage on a limited basis.   Please visit this page for more information on our services.

  December, 2006:  PAWsitive Touch's owner/instructor, Tomoko helped write a chapter on dog massage in a book called "Healthy Methods for Doggies," which was published in Japan this month.  She also wrote an article about caring and PAWsitive dog training and healthy dog treats in this book.
